Hi Erin

Just wanted to let you know how thrilled we were with the catering for my husband's 60th on Sunday.

The food REALLY was  fabulous and the staff (Bonnie, Tom and the girl who was on a trial) did a great job preparing, presenting and serving the food. Not only that they were all friendly, efficient and most obliging.

At the end of the service my kitchen was left spotless and all rubbish taken.

All of this allowed me to feel completely relaxed and able to enjoy the function along with our guests many of whom commented on the food and asked about the caterers.

My dealings with you right from the initial contact, the tasting you arranged, our various emails exchanged leading up to the function have all been handled promptly and professionally.

It has been a most positive experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending or using you again in the future.

Adam,

I'm writing to say thank you for making our 40th wedding anniversary celebrations such a great day.

Your staff, the 2 lovely ladies, so sorry I can't remember their names, were fantastic.

They felt like a part of the family, and helped out with so much more than was expected.

All the comments about the food was how nice it was, the meat tender and tasty, the salads very nice too.

just wanted to formally thank you and FABULOUS CATERING for your involvement and support in the final round of the Australian Rally Championships with us and our endeavours to put on an awesome corportate event on the Friday at Lardner Park.

We really appreciated the catering that was absolutely outstanding. Our customers and yours really felt "looked after" and I hope everyone got to enjoy some "out of the office" time doing something really different.

Can you please let her manager know that Sarah was fabulous. She arrived a little early, was prepared, well presented and well mannered. She organised the food cooking and service completely and adjusted it perfectly during the evening so there was minimal waste. My kitchen was left cleaner than when she arrived. I know this is what I paid for but Sarah's pleasant demeanour made the party a pleasure.

Luke was fantastic in the kitchen - we gave him a very clean kitchen and it was sparkling when he left. The food was served at the time we wanted and he put to work the young girls we had employed to serve the food.

I don't think you can have a better night than know that you don't have to worry about how the catering is going, and that is how I felt with Luke in command. Please pass on to him our very grateful thanks.

Just thought I would send an email post Fabulous Catering's of my daughters 18th on the 2nd June.

I am not a person that would normally send feedback to businesses as there is normally and expectation of service for the money paid but I feel that I needed to after the weekend.

Firstly, the food was 1St class and all of the guest (oldies) commented on how great it was with the varying tasteful dishes. Secondly I must pass on my recommendations and thanks to our allocated host “Amber,” her service and hospitality was simply fantastic!

They say that a business is only as good as the people……… Well it became Obvious to understand why Fabulous Catering is a successful business with people like Amber representing your company.

Her professional and warm personality made it easy for everyone to enjoy the food and services that she provided on your behalf.

I would have and will be recommending Fabulous Catering to anyone that is prepared to listen for the hosting of their events as it was not only great value for money & convenient but as I stated earlier with people like Amber representing your business, it made the difficult task of catering to everyone's satisfaction a Breeze!

Sunday 17th April we held an 80th birthday party for our Mum at my sisters home. This was a great success and I have only good things to say about your company. Organising the food was easy from the first phone call. We went with the menu you suggested and the food was beautiful. Olga arrived on time and was just wonderful. We would like to thank you and your team, especially Dale, the supervisor for the evening, for helping to make my husbands 60th birthday celebration such a wonderful night on 15th January 2011 It is a night that my family will remember always, - fabulous food, a magnificent band and great friends

Your team travelled to Leopold, near Geelong bringing with them all the equipment needed to provide a sit down. plated meal for our 46 guests. The fact that they could use my standard kitchen along with all the equipment that they bought with them to serve such a magnificent meal was amazing.

The food was a huge success with our guests, who all raved about the quality and quantity of both the mignon steak and chicken fillet. served to them The finger food served before the meal was also beautifully presented and enjoyed by all and sweets of pavlova and cheesecake was also great

The best part for myself was not having to worry about the food or cleaning up after the party, when I entered my kitchen as your team was leaving it was very clean and no dishes to worry about later.......fabulous for the party host.

The girls were great, moving unobtrusively amongst our guests, delivering food and removing dirty plates while looking very professionally in their black uniforms - very well presented

We will certainly use your team again for future celebrations at our home.

Apologies for not replying to your email earlier, things were a little busy here this morning.

I’m glad your team won yesterday....there is still that glimmer of hope Melbourne can reach the final 8, as long as it’s not at Carlton’s expense!! They are playing a brand of exciting footy at the moment, and will cause a few headaches to some of the other teams also trying to make it into the finals.

As far as Saturday night went, well, what a great night was had by all !! Some of the Partners were still coming up to me late this morning raving about the fantastic food, wine and service. The Managing Partner thanked me again this morning for such a wonderful night.

The staff you provided on the night were simply fantastic – Jenny and Adam did a great job in the kitchen and were extremely self sufficient. It was clearly evident that a lot of thought went into preparing for the night, judging by all the equipment, trestle tables and tools brought in, in order to make sure “no stone was unturned.” The food that was served to our guests was nothing short of restaurant quality. They didn’t stop all night and are a credit to your company. Georgia, Jazmyn and Chris were extremely professional and polished, and were on their feet all night. They seemed to enjoy the evening as much as our guests and this was a reflection of how relaxed and happy everybody seemed to be.

Thank you again for all of your help in making this evening a memorable one. It was extremely important to me that the evening would turn out a success, and this was made a lot simpler by your wonderful staff.

I was really impressed and very happy with the manner in which our function was ran.  The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.  I was particularly impressed with the man (please forgive me, I have forgotten his name!) that cooked the meat and also got to Jells Park at 9am so we could get the pergola!  I am sure that had he not have done this, I would have been quite stressed!

Everything was so well organised that I was concerned that I had forgotten something as I have never before organised a function with such ease!

Just a note to let you know that our function went off brilliantly on Saturday night, despite the rain. Its success was due in no small part – in fact, a very large part – to the delicious food that Fabulous Fingerfood supplied and the wonderful efforts of your employees, Despina and Megan who worked so hard all evening to make sure the food kept coming. It was beautifully presented, hot when necessary and, most importantly, there was plenty of it, each dish as tasty as the one before.

Our guests were mightily impressed.

The barman, Hardy, also did a good job, making sure that everything went smoothly in his area. But I do want to single out Despina and Megan for a special thank-you. They were great and we’d appreciate your passing our sincere thanks on to them. Megan had to come in and out of the house many times, passing through a small area  not undercover, but she did so cheerfully and with good grace, an excellent effort on such a wet night. They certainly did Fabulous Fingerfoods proud.

I’ll definitely recommend your Company to anyone who’s interested.

Dear Adam

Now that our house sale is finalised, Ken and I both wanted to let you all know how pleased we were with the catering for our ‘house leaving party’.

As you will recall, the food demonstration introduced us to some new food options and we were very pleased with the food selections & quality on the day.

We wanted to especially mention the staff, Christine in the kitchen and especially Judy. Judy served our guests effortlessly and showed consideration and care for all guests attending on the day. Judy also made sure that the hosts, Ken and I, had something to eat instead of chatting all day!

Both ladies left our home clean & tidy, and helped with collecting and washing the glasses which allowed us to offer drinks to late arrivals.

The day was really memorable and special and it wouldn’t have been so successful without the Fabulous FingerFood Company.

Hi Adam,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to give you some feedback about the function and staff today, which was an overall success.

Firstly thank you for fitting our function in at such short notice, much appreciated.  I wasn't sure how the whole walking around the call centre would go however it went surprisingly well without too much impact.

A credit to your staff for working well with the environment and improvising, they definitely lived up to the company name of 'Fabulous'. They all arrived just before 10.30 which was great and set up was no hassle.
Caroline was fantastic and friendly infact the others Michael, Hardy and Anis(sorry don't know spelling) were all personable, professional and productive.  They were warm and cooperative along with fun and flexible to work with.  Well done and cheers to them.  Staff here also commented on how friendly and polite they were.

The quality of the food was great and all enjoyed.  That's right the quality of food and service was that good that I will definitely be recommending Fabulous Finger Food in future here.   A couple of people asked for business card for which Caroline gave me.

You can be proud that your company has serviced yet another successful function.

Also payment request is sitting with Sydney office as we speak and should be in progress so hopefully you should receive shortly.  Please let me know if it hasn't after a couple weeks and I will chase up.

I just wanted to say thanks for the great job your company did for my 50th birthday party on April 5th.  Andrea and her team did everything your website promised.  They even kept trying to feed me, realizing that I was too excited to eat without prompting.  Lots of people commented on the food and the service and several asked me for contact details for the future. 

I only decided to have a party about two weeks beforehand and probably would have dropped the whole idea if you hadn't made it so easy.  In the end, we had about 140 guests and I was able to enjoy myself without having to worry about a thing.  We will definitely be in touch in the future and will be recommending you to friends and for work functions.

I would like to sincerely Thank You for the very Professional & Courteous way you provided the Staff and Catering requirements for my recent 60th Birthday Celebration. Having chosen my menu items almost entirely from your new Gourmet Selection, and being the first to do so, I was a little apprehensive as to whether I had made the right choice. What can I say – IT FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTAIONS! It was magnificent, beautifully presented and every bit as delicious as promised.

A big Thanks from my guest who has celiac disease – your specialty catering for her needs was amazing and very tasty. She enjoyed each and every item and was delighted that for once, she did not have to bring her own food to a party.

Adam and the Wait & Bar Staff worked very professionally. They were very courteous, well groomed and moved about very unobtrusively. I especially noticed they went out of their way to make sure that my elderly and disabled Guests did not go without.

Also thank you Geraldine, putting everything together from your Office. Everything we spoke about came to fruition and you made me feel nothing was too much trouble.

As people left the party, I received compliment after compliment on the quality and quantity of the food and how good the staff were. I handed on many of your business cards.

I will most certainly be using you again, and would be more than happy to personally recommend you for any function.

We held our annual Trivia night on Saturday night and it was a great success.
With a lot of organising to do it was a wonderful relief to not have to worry about the catering. Your company took ALL the stress out of preparing the food.

The delivery was on time and delivered by the friendliest delivery man I have dealt with in a long time, along with the lovely man who picked up the boxes on Sunday morning.

Everything we needed was in the boxes. It was very kind of you to include extra serving trays. I didn’t have to worry about looking for more trays. The food was delicious and we had lots of comments on how fresh and tasty it was.

Just a note to say thank you for the great catering at our Daughter's 18th on Saturday night.

Delivery was on time and went smoothly with everything packed well and ready for the catering staff.

In the evening the food was classy and hot and your staff did a great job heating and serving all evening. They liaised with us if they weren't sure of something and coordinated the food around speeches etc. Could we make special mention of Effie as our Barperson. She was fantastic and went over and above her role and continued to supply what food was left after the catering staff left as well as continuing to serve at the Bar.

All equipment was left ready to go and clean before your staff left.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and Fabulous Finger Food for making our party on Saturday night a stress free success. Your staff was not only very friendly and accommodating but also very, very professional, they arrived on time and slotted into their positions and off we went. The food was delicious, there was plenty of it and no one complained of missing out (which we have found at a couple of functions that we have been to in the past year). I did have quite a few people asking who we used for the evening and they said that if they ever have a function they would definitely use Fabulous finger food as will we if we hold a function again.

We had a wonderful time and I believe a lot of it was due to the fact that we didn’t have to stress over catering for the function and also due to the fact that we weren’t running around ensuring our guests had a drink, when they walked in we pointed them to the bar and off they went.

Just writing to say what a good job you did with the food for my 50th birthday. Lots of people commented on how tasty it was and my kitchen hands (children) found it very easy to cook and serve. The instructions were clear and it was great having everything needed just dropped on your doorstep, particularly as there were still lots of other little things to chase up. It was especially handy not having to refrigerate the food, as fridge space was at a premium for other things.

A number of people have taken brochures for future reference. Once again thank you for making my night run so smoothly

Eastern Disability Access Resource

EDAR (Eastern Disability Access Resource) is an organization which provides day program services for adults with an intellectual disability. They are funded by the Department of Human Services. EDAR is a non-profit community based organisation that offers a broad range of programs and oportunities designed to meet the expressed needs of adults with an intellectual disabiity, in order to enhance their independence and maximise their quality of life. There are four EDAR centers across eastern Melbourne.

EDAR required catering to their function of an arts exhibition night. The members of EDAR had created some art pieces, and the night was to display all of their talents, and offer the pieces for sale also. The night also acted as a good awareness and social night as well for the community of EDAR and its members.

The evening hosted up to 70 people and catering was provided with staff for the event to run as smoothly as possible for EDAR. Fabulous Fingerfood provided not only Hot fingerfood products, but also an assortment of Dessert Packages, and Fruit Platters along with some cheese platters. Fabulous Fingerfood being the very flexible catering choice that we are, provided EDAR with a customized solution to their needs as there was many guests arriving on the night with special dietary requirements that needed to be considered. Customized fingerfood packages were created to suit the event and so were the dessert packages.
